The Perfect Medicine

Melissa sat still, gently fingering the plane ticket sitting in her lap. She had been waiting for what seemed like forever for her plane to arrive so she could board. The gate was all but abandoned at this time of the morning, and she preferred it that way. She could count on the one hand the number of people who were also waiting for the flight. She sighed again, grabbing a magazine out of her bag and thumbing through it.
She had been living in Seattle for the past 3 years, moving in with a boyfriend. She had attended nursing school in her home state and had worked at the local hospital when she met him. He was on a business trip and they met at a bar where she went often to relax and after dating long distance for several months, she agreed to move to be with him. 3 years later, he dumped her, no apartment and no money; cleaning out their joint bank account. She stayed with friends for a short time, trying to build up her money, but Seattle was just too expensive for a single woman to afford and so on the urging of her parents, she decided to go home. Even though she was more than welcome back at home, she felt ashamed that she had failed so miserably at her first attempt at independence. She took a flight out of Seattle that afternoon, and after a bumpy ride, she was now stuck at the Dallas/Ft.Worth airport, waiting for her flight to Birmingham that was already delayed by 3 hours.
Trying her best to stay awake until she can get on the flight, she decided to get up and get something caffenated. After purchasing some coffee, she walked around the terminal, continuing to stretch her legs. More people began to file in, even though the flight was delayed. She thought that was strange, but let it blow by. Finally, a weary looking flight attendant came over the loud speaker, announcing that the flight was ready to board.
She made her way to first class and placed her bag in the overhead compartment. She took a peak towards coach and was relieved that she didn't have to sit in the cramped seats. She said a silent thanks to her parents for upgrading her ticket as she sat down and got ready for take-off.
After about 10 minutes in the air, she took a deep breath of relief. The flight attendant turned off all the lights and handed out blankets for everyone who wanted to sleep. She wrapped the blanket around her and laid her head back, but the sleep wouldn’t come. ‘DAMN COFFEE,’ she growled at herself as she reached again for her magazine. She turned on the small light over her seat, careful not to disturb the others who were trying to rest, granted, there weren’t but about 6.
She was so engrossed with her magazine that she didn't notice another light on across the aisle. When the plane hit a small bump, it startled her so much that she almost dropped the magazine. Taking a minute to take a sip of her drink, she looked around, curious to see if everyone else was sleeping. She caught out of the corner of her eye another light. When she looked over she saw something that really shook her up. It was a man and he was writing something down on a large notepad. He was tall and handsome with black hair. She knew him right away, she would know him anywhere…it was Gene Simmons!
She sat still for a moment, thinking this had to be a joke, or at least a dream. After all, why would someone like him be on a commercial airline? Didn't KISS have their own plane? She rubbed her eyes, but still he sat, concentrating intently on what he was writing on his notepad, seemingly oblivious to the outside world.
Melissa debated whether or not to go to him and ask for an autograph. She felt that if he was on such a late flight, that he wanted privacy, so she didn't want to bug him, but at the same time, when would she ever get a chance like this again? After much thought, she decided not to disturb him, being that he looked so busy. Though she tried to read her magazine, but she couldn’t help but stare at him, concentrating on every line and curve in his face. Finally, she gave up, threw her magazine down and laid back to try and get some sleep. She dozed slightly, but the airplane ride was rough and noisy so it made relaxing difficult. She looked over at Gene again, and noticed that he was looking at her. Shocked, she looked away quickly, and then kicked herself for looking so foolish.
When she finally got the courage to look again, she noticed that his seat was now empty. She looked around, trying to find out where he went, when all of a sudden, he was standing right in front of her, smiling.
“Excuse me…the plane looks awful crowded tonight.” he joked. “Is this seat taken?”
Melissa momentarily choked on her words but managed to speak. “Oh, no, please sit down.” She said, offering him the seat next to her.
“Thanks.” he said, taking the seat. “Who is the name of this gracious woman whom I’m sharing this seat?”
“Melissa…that’s my name.” she answered, giggling. “Who is the name of this charming man whom I’m sharing my seat?” she asked. She wondered what he would do if he thought she didn't know him.
“Gene…that’s my name.” he said without breaking stride. They both burst out laughing.
“What are you doing on a commercial flight at this time of night?” she asked, still laughing.
“Paul stole the private plane to take his family on vacation and I needed to go to New York, so I just went the conventional way. What about you? Where are you headed?”
“Birmingham”
“Visiting family?”
“No, going home for good.” Melissa sighed.
“From Dallas?”
“No, from Seattle…I moved there with a boyfriend, and it didn't work out, ended badly. So, I decided to go home, my family is there. So, I guess you can say I in need of some good luck.”
“Feels good to go home again, doesn’t it?” Gene asked.
“Sure does, like a fresh start, I needed it. I found a job there, and so I will stay with my parents until I get an apartment.”
“What do you do?”
“I’m a nurse,…” she answered, matter-of-factly.
“Ummm…” Gene said, rubbing his newly grown goatee. Melissa thought that looked so sexy and wondered if it tickled.
“What are you thinking?” Gene asked, noticing she was lost in her thoughts. She blushed.
“Aww, you don’t want to know.” she said, embarrassed that a dirty thought had run through her mind.
“Try me…”
“I…uh, wondered if you goatee tickled,” she said, turning red again.
“Tickled what?” he asked, his voice low and sexy.
Melissa giggled like a schoolgirl on her first date. She couldn’t possibly answer that question, not without attacking him right where he sat. Maybe he knew that already…
“Ummm, you didn't answer my question” Gene said, now moving closer to her.
Although, this idea was pretty enticing, she was getting quite nervous. After all, this wasn’t a private bedroom….this was an airplane with people on it.
He slowly ran his fingers through her hair. “Don’t be nervous,” he said, whispering in her ear.
“I can’t help it…there's people here.”
“Do you want me to stop?” he asked, pulling away.
“No!” she answered without thinking. “Don’t go away, I…”
Before she could say another word, he placed his lips on hers, his tongue gently gliding into her mouth. He could feel a moan escape her throat and he knew that it had been a long time since she was in this kind of position. Her urgency only made him drive harder to entice her, he relished in her soft cries of relief. It had been so long since she had kissed a man, and the fact that this was her idol made it even more special.
“Oh, thank you….” she said, her lips still on his and her appreciation running deep.
“This is a long flight, what to you think we should do to pass the time?” he asked smoothly.
She hummed under her breath. Her imagination now running wild, she could come up with many different options, but this being an airplane, this was new to her.
“Uhh, I have never done anything like this before….I’m sure you can tell I’ not a member of the ‘mile high club’” she said, getting embarrassed.
“Don’t worry…just let me take care of everything” he said. He grabbed the blanket that Melissa was using and covered both of them up to their necks with it. Then he reached underneath and began to unbutton her blouse, causing her to squirm slightly. She looked around, wondering if anyone was watching, but Gene took her by the chin and turned her attention back to him.
“No ones watching, and no one cares what we are doing sweetheart, relax…” he said, his hands gently caressing her breasts through her bra. Her nipples were now fully erect and now at their most sensitive.
They turned to face each other and Gene began to run his other hand up her leg until it reached the bottom of her skirt. Looking right into her eyes, he slowly moved his hand upwards, carefully watching Melissa’s expressions. She closed her eyes and laid her head to the side on the seat, thoroughly enjoying the special attention she was receiving. When he reached the top of her panties, he spread her legs apart to get at her better. She let him take total control of her, no longer caring if anyone was watching. She was so enraptured by what he was doing to her that her magazine hitting the floor startled her.
“Oh, forget it…” she said when Gene stopped what he was doing. “I’ll get it later.”
“No, allow me.” Gene said, going under the blanket to get the magazine. But he had an anterior motive.
He placed the magazine on the empty seat and while he was still under the blanket, again ran his hands up her thighs. She opened her mouth to protest, but she just couldn’t…it just felt too good. She leaned back against the seat again, mouth open wide, but sound wouldn’t come. She could feel him sliding her panties slowly down her legs, and soon after, she began to feel soft kisses brushing slowly upward. Chills ran up her spine as her body began to realize what was in store. She gripped the armrest of her seat, as he hungrily ran his tongue over her and down to her awaiting wetness, making her cry a muffled cry. He took her legs and raised them slightly to get a better position inside her, his hands gripping her hips and pulling her into his long tongue. He expertly worked her, in and out, over and over again, moving with her rhythm for maximum effect. When he sensed she was about to cum, he pulled out, instead using his finger to keep her at bay. He moved up the blanket, and with his other hand, unhooked her bra like a pro. He worked over her hot, swollen breasts, sucking on her nipples and running his tongue around the outside and in between. This was more than Melissa could stand, she had never wanted anyone more than she wanted Gene, even in her own dreams.
She pulled him up by the hair until he was on his knees in front of her. She grabbed him and kissed him, tasting the sweetness of herself on his lips. She turned him around and made him sit in the seat, and then she straddled him while reaching down between his legs and finding what she was looking for. His strong hardness was straining to come out, so she unzipped his pants and ran her hand inside, watching him melt in front of her. She wanted more than ever to make this last forever, but she knew the flight would land soon, so she began to rub her hand against him…harder and harder. He buried his face in her breasts, continuing to work them and stifling his own moans.
She whispered in his ear. “I have dreamed about this many times over the years…never even allowing that it might come true. I know this will all be a memory by morning, but for now…I just want to know that, if just for a while, I’m the most important thing in your world…right at this moment…please tell me that.” She begged.
He ran his hand down her cheek and looked deep into her eyes. “Yes, Melissa…there is you, no other. You are so special to me in every way, and I want to please you, let me do that for you.”
She smiled and moaned slightly, as she lowered herself onto him, letting him slide into her, very slowly. The feel of his massiveness made her shutter a bit, wondering if she could take all of him. Sensing this, Gene took his time, so she wouldn’t feel any pain. When he was finally completely inside, they both began to move their hips simultaneously, grabbing onto each other so neither one of them would cry out. He grabbed her hips again, furiously pulling her to him, now addicted to the feel of her encasing him. She knew she was close to exploding, but wanted to wait for Gene to cum with her.
“Cum for me first.” he demanded, through gritting teeth.
She opened her mouth to argue, but was stopped by another kiss. She couldn’t hold out any longer and let herself go. Her screams halted by his mouth. He came right behind her, gripping her hips tight and shoving himself inside as far as he would go. They both sat still for a moment to catch their breath, and then heard the loud speaker.
“Ladies and Gentlemen…we will be arriving in Birmingham International Airport in approximately 5 minutes…please fasten your seatbelts.”
They started to laugh as the fumbled to get themselves back together. They managed to get settled in their seats by the time the flight attendant turned on all the lights. They sat silent for the rest of the flight, holding hands.
When the plane landed, Melissa turned to Gene. A glow of gratefulness showing on her face.
“I don’t know how to thank you for this…you have no idea….” She tried to say.
“It’s all right, really…thank you too.”
“I’m curious..how many times have you said stuff like that to women, ya know, about them being the most important?”
He chuckled. “Every woman is special, even if I know them for a moment. Every person impacts me in some way…you might be special to me just on April 22, 2000, but every April 22, I will think of you, especially if I’m on a plane.”
“Come on…that’s a line.” she teased with a laugh.
“Nope…totally serious. While it’s true there are many women I won’t remember in the morning, I will remember you….because you are a very unique lady…I wish the best for you, really….and I won’t forget that.” He said, touching her cheek.
The plane door opened and she was ready to leave. Gene reached up and got her bag, and she began to walk toward the door. She stopped, not wanting to leave it that way, so she turned around and ran back up to Gene, hugging him tight. She looked at him, but he touched his finger to her lip, willing her not to say another word. She turned back around, wiped her tears, and walked off the plane, never looking back.
When she walked into the terminal, she saw the familiar face of her mother waiting for her. They ran to each other and embraced. While she was overjoyed seeing her mother again, she felt a small pang of sadness, knowing she was leaving Gene behind.
“Its sooo wonderful to have you home Lissa.” her mom said, still hugging her.
“Its great to be home, mom” she said.
“Well, are you ready to go home?”
“Yeah, lets go.”
They walked arm in arm to get her luggage.
“So, how was the flight? Did you go stir crazy during the delay?” her mom asked.
Melissa smiled. “No, I found something….. useful to do”
As the plane began its take off, Gene looked down at his notebook, trying to continue his writing. He turned and looked out the window, at the sun coming over the horizon, and a small tear rolled down his cheek.
